Just recently, Carrier® introduced the Infinity® Air Purifier. This purifier filters out 95% of pollutants and 99% of viruses and bacteria, including Covid-19 and contains a MERV 15 air filter. What does the MERV rating mean? MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value and rates on a scale of one to 20, depending on the minimum size of particles the filter can be expected to capture. MERV 15 captures particles greater than one micrometer which includes most dust and pollutants.
