Indoor air quality is an important aspect of a home or business' comfort and safety.

Indoor air quality is an important aspect of a home or business’ comfort and safety. Having one of these tests performed on your home or commercial building is an effective way to ensure the space’s air quality is ideal. Once the source of any pollutant is found, our experts can recommend solutions to remedy the issue.

There are 3 air quality tests available. Each test gauges the levels of certain irritants and harmful chemicals in the building or home being tested.

Test #1: The Biological Test

A biological indoor air quality test measures the amount of irritants. Common irritants include mold, dust mites, dander, pollen, and bacteria. When this biological test is performed, we can see where the sources of the irritants are and provide you with possible solutions.

Test #2: The Chemical or Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) Test

  1. A VOC test measures more harmful compound levels such as lead, formaldehyde, and radon. Mild side effects of these compounds include irritation to the eyes, nose, and throat. However, they can also lead to more severe health issues such as headaches, loss of coordination, nausea, and damage to the liver, kidneys, or central nervous system. They usually enter through pores in the foundation, cracks, and holes.

Test #3: The Combustion Pollutant Test

A combustion pollutant test measures the most dangerous pollutants in indoor air. These combustion pollutants include carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, fine and ultrafine particles, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and formaldehyde. Many of these pollutants can cause death and/or pose a fire hazard. A building or home should never be occupied without first being tested for these pollutants.

We can customize a solution to improve the indoor air quality in your home. Some of these solutions include:

Air Cleaners:

Air Cleaners remove dust, pollen, mold spores, bacteria and viruses.

Humidity Controls:

  • Dehumidifiers help eliminate mold as well as stagnant kitchen and bathroom odors.
  • Humidifiers can enrich hard, dry air with clean moisture.

UV Lamps:

UV Lamps are located inside your HVAC unit and keep it free of mold and bacteria. UV lamps can inactivate the Covid virus by 99.97%.

Energy Recovery Ventilators:

Energy Recovery Ventilators regulate the temperature of fresh air coming in to maintain consistent temperatures and minimize energy costs.
